Farmscan and the Jarba Boom

We use this equipment to regulate droplet size and boom width in use. The outer sections of the boom can be switched off resulting in greater placement control.

The Jarba allows the pilot to make airborne decisions concerning droplet size in accordance with changing weather conditions, resulting in the pilot being able to achieve an optimum application.

Before the Jarba boom pilots had to land and make manual adjustments to the nozzles to alter droplet size. Often this would involve ferrying some distance to a suitable airfield.
